CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation Policy and No Refund on Deposits: Should you need to cancel your event/booking, please provide PartyAfterParty with at least 14 days' notice prior to the scheduled date. Regrettably, deposits made are non-refundable irrespective of the cancellation timing. In the event of a cancellation within the 14-day window, the final payment remains due before the originally scheduled date. Failure to adhere to this policy may result in consequences such as being barred from future rentals through PartyAfterParty and potential debt collection proceedings. Your understanding and compliance are greatly appreciated.

RESCHEDULING

In the event that you need to reschedule your event or booking with PartyAfterParty, it is important to notify us at least 14 days prior to the scheduled date to avoid incurring a rescheduling fee. If you provide us with a rescheduling notice within 14 days of the event date, a rescheduling fee of $100 will be applicable, and this fee must be paid within 48 hours of rescheduling notice. Failure to pay the rescheduling fee will result in the requirement of a new deposit for a new date.

The 50% deposit you initially made can be transferred to a date within 12 months from your original event date, provided that the new date is available and not already previously booked. If the new date is not available, you will be guided to select a new date within 12 months of your original booking. In the event that a suitable date cannot be booked, no refunds will be issued. We understand that circumstances may arise that necessitate rescheduling, and we strive to accommodate our customers to the best of our ability within the stated guidelines.

DAMAGES - TERMS & CONDITIONS

By signing this contract, I acknowledge and accept full responsibility for all rental items and equipment obtained from PartyAfterParty. In the event that the item(s) are rented on behalf of a third party, I understand that I bear all the responsibility for the rental items/equipment and guarantee their safe return to PartyAfterParty.

The amount specified under "Rental item replacement cost" represents the maximum charge for the complete replacement of the rental item. In the event of damages deemed unfixable by PartyAfterParty, an invoice will be sent to me for the total replacement cost. If PartyAfterParty determines that the damages are below the total replacement cost (e.g., missing light bulbs or wire damage), an invoice for the damages will still be sent, and I am responsible for covering all associated costs.

All payment for damages must be made within 28 days from the "Event date" specified in this agreement. Failure to comply with the terms and conditions regarding damages will result in being prohibited from renting through PartyAfterParty in the future and may result in debt collection procedures.

Examples of damages include, but are not limited to: theft, vandalism, damage resulting from failure to secure rental items during transport or exceeding the rated capacity of the rental items, damage to motors or electronic devices caused by artificial current, overturning damages, damages caused by adverse weather conditions, damages resulting from the use of adhesives, damages from third-party sub rentals, damages caused by third parties, and failure to return rental items.

IF ANY ITEMS SUCH AS WEIGHTS OR EXTENSION CORDS ARE MISPLACED, LOST OR BROKEN, THEY WILL ALSO BE SUBJECT TO A REPLACEMENT FEE *PARTYAFTERPARTY REPLACEMENT COST TO BE DETERMINED*

PROHIBITED ON ALL BACKDROPS, FLOWER WALLS, MARQUEE NUMBERS/LETTERS AND ALL RENTALS:  TAPE, DUCT TAPE, HOT GLUE, ANY TYPE OF ADHESIVE THAT ISN'T A 3M COMMAND STRIP. 

NO HANGING SIGNS IN ANY WAYS SHAPE OF FORM (ONLY WITH SPECIAL PERMISSION AND/OR PARTYAFTERPARTY TEAM MEMBER(S) HANGING IT FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE). NO DRILLING SCREWS, NAILS, THUMB TACKS INTO RENTAL ITEMS AND NO HOLES ANY OF THESE ACTIONS ABOVE WILL BE SUBJECT TO FURTHER DAMAGE FEES.

DO NOT SECURE ANY TIES TO MARQUEE RENTALS WIRING OR BULBS. 

Only 3M Command strips or GREEN painters tape are to be used on ALL rental items. If you're requiring 3M command strips to secure decor on your rentals, they can be bought through us or at almost any local grocery store. 3M command strips may still cause damage if used incorrectly. If damage still occurs using 3M command strips such as, paint peeling, this may still be subject to further damage fees. 

RENTAL PROTECTION PLAN

To ensure the safety of our equipment and provide peace of mind, we offer a Damage Protection option. A 10% of the rental cost charge (pre-tax) will be automatically added to your contract/invoice, unless you explicitly decline it before pickup or delivery.

With Damage Protection, the first $100.00 of broken or damaged equipment will be covered, and 50% of any additional damage or breakage will also be covered. The remaining 50% will be the customer's responsibility. However, if you choose to decline Damage Protection, you will be fully responsible for the cost of replacement or repair of the equipment.

Please note that Damage Protection is not insurance and has certain limitations. It does not cover rental items that are not returned, theft, damage resulting from vandalism, damage resulting from failure to secure rental items during transport, overloading or exceeding the rated capacity of the rental items, damage to motors or other electronic devices caused by artificial current, damages resulting from overturning, damage due to weather conditions, any damage to third-party sub-rental items, or specialty linens.

If you decline the rental protection plan, you will be required to pay the full retail replacement cost of any damaged item(s).

We want to ensure a smooth rental experience for you, and the Damage Protection option is designed to provide an added layer of security. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.

REFUND POLICY

The 50% deposit or full payment (serving as a deposit) you initially made is non-refundable, however it can be transferred to a date within 12 months from your original event date, provided that the new date is available and not already previously booked. In the event that a suitable date cannot be booked, no refunds will be issued. Additionally full and Final payments will not be refunded under any circumstances once services have been render.

LATE RENTER/CUSTOMER PICK UP

The Renter bears the responsibility of ensuring their ability to pick up the rental items at the designated Pickup time indicated on the rental order. It is the Renter's obligation to promptly notify PartyAfterParty if they or their designated representatives are unable to arrive at the scheduled time and to exert every effort to arrive within PartyAfterParty's specified Pickup/Return hours. While PartyAfterParty will try our best to accommodate the pickup, it should be noted that PartyAfterParty cannot be held accountable for missed pickups resulting from late arrivals.

LATE RENTER/CUSTOMER RETURN

If the rental items are not able to be retrieved by PartyAfterParty team member(s), eg. reasons: Venue closed before agreed pick up times and you did not inform PartyAfterParty before pick up time

-OR- 

Rental item(s) & equipment are not returned by renter or third party renter to PARTYAFTERPARTY by the agreed return date & time and you did not reach out to inform us you will be late or inform us that you needed to reschedule your return time. You may be subject to a late fee in the amount of $50. 

Each additional day that goes by, where the rentals are not able to be retrieved -OR- returned to PARTYAFTERPARTY by renter, an additional $50 fee will be applied. Failure to comply with the terms & conditions will result in being banned from renting through PartyAfterParty in the future and possible debt collection. 

PAYMENT

PartyAfterParty accepts payment via credit card or debit (Visa or MC) through our online secure payment form. Corporate Clients, Charities, Foundations, Organizations, Schools, may arrange alternative payment methods such as cheque or Interac E-transfer.
